The Board was duly elected by its members and represents sixteen (16) government agencies, including its ex-officio member, namely:

  • National Tobacco Administration (NTA),
  • Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA),
  • Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP),
  • Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO),
  • Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST),
  • Provincial Government of Agusan del Sur (PGO-Agusan del Sur),
  • Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR),
  • Land Transportation Office (LTO),
  • Department of Science and Technology (DOST),
  • Provincial Government of Occidental Mindoro (PGO-Occidental Mindoro),
  • Commission on Audit (COA),
  • Office for Alternative Dispute and Resolution (OADR),
  • Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA),
  • Department of Tourism (DOT),
  • Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and
  • Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)

During the oath-taking, CSC Commissioner Lizada addressed the new AGIA Board of Directors and congratulated them for championing integrity, accountability and professionalism among its members.

She acknowledged the vital role of internal auditors in significantly contributing in the effective and efficient delivery of public service. She likewise commended AGIA for its capacity-building efforts so as to fulfill its mandate o providing continuous professional development to internal auditors and allied professionals in the public service.

Commissioner Lizada has consistently supported AGIA in the past years by gracing its events as resource speaker.
