On Dec. 3, 2024, the AGIA, represented by President Dinah E. Pichay, joined a gathering of anti-corruption advocates and integrity stakeholders at the 5th State Conference of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) Implementation and Review held at Malacanang Palace. The event was graced by no less than President Ferdinand R. Marcos.

With the theme, ‘Pagpapatibay ng Kultura ng Integridad sa Bagong Pilipinas’, the 5th State Conference aimed to provide relevant updates on existing efforts to combat corruption in the government. The Conference likewise highlighted the presentation and implementation of the Integrity Management Plan (IMP), the government’s premiere program for integrity building of the government. The IMP, which is expected to be implemented in the 3 branches of the government starting 2025, is overseen by the Office of the President – Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs (OP-ODESLA).

A manifesto of support was signed by participating representatives of organizations and government agencies, demonstrating their commitment to the government’s efforts in this regard.  Being invited to this event underscores AGIA’s recognition as a leading advocate for integrity and accountability in public service.
